Could be better
-Crashes a lot -just ONE (!!!) Color Palette! -a record function would be nice a not just a streaming function But I like it because you can disable MSX
Good, but not excellent
The new version is good. But it has a very large camera initialization time. In the settings there is a choice of measuring units, but there is no temperature measurement. This is strange... Still lacks the ability to choose different color palettes.
You cant record or snap pictures!
I dont hate the app. I wish it would at least record or take pictures but it does neither. Its for presentations etc. I can find a use for it as it does do landscape mode and the Flir app does not. They both will stream to my Apple TV but the Flir only displays in portrait mode. Now, one would assume that you buy a device that allows additional camera functionality and you get an app to go along with it that it would at least allow recording. Of course you can capture screenshots the old fashioned way but this is for streaming presentations only. $3 and it doesnt record? Really... You can use the Flir app, stream to Apple TV and use your tv settings to rotate the image. Save s you $3. Want full screen? Most tvs will allow stretching too. Still, I like the app but why leave out the most important options. Should of been a free app for what it does.
